Simple Ideas for a Calm Organized Bedroom

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Bedroom Organization (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free guides about organizing a bedroom. They are general information only. The site is not a professional organizing or design service, and it is not professional advice of any kind. We work to keep the guides clear and accurate, but we do not promise that every guide is free of errors.

General-information disclaimer

Every room is different. What works in a bedroom depends on its size and shape, on the furniture in it and on the people who use it. The guides describe general approaches and things to check; they cannot take your particular room into account. Sizes and counts are examples and starting points, not rules. Measure your own room and furniture before you buy or build anything, and check any measurement that matters twice.

Tall furniture. Dressers, bookcases, wardrobes and other tall or heavy furniture can tip over, especially when drawers are open or the upper part is loaded. Anchor such furniture as its manufacturer instructs, using fixings suited to your wall, and keep heavier things low.

Shelves, hooks and other wall fixings. Whether a shelf, a bracket, a rail, a hook or a wall can carry a load depends on the product and on the building. The site states no weight limits. Follow the manufacturer’s load rating and installation instructions, use fixings suited to the surface, check for pipes and cables before drilling, check any rules that apply to a rented home, and ask a qualified professional if you are unsure.

Cords, chargers and other electrical equipment. Use lamps, chargers, power strips and any other electrical equipment only as supplied and as the manufacturer instructs. Keep cords where they cannot be tripped over or pinched by furniture, and do not run them under rugs, mattresses or bedding. The site does not describe modifying equipment or working on household wiring. Anything involving the wiring of your home is a job for a qualified electrician.

Lifting, moving and cutting. Moving furniture and lifting full boxes can cause injury or damage floors and walls; get help with anything heavy. The do-it-yourself projects use ordinary hand tools, including sharp ones. Use them with care and as their manufacturers instruct.

No health claims. The site makes no promises about sleep, stress or health, and nothing on it is medical advice.

You use the information on the site at your own risk.
